Privacy Policy — Anti Theft: Phone Touch Alarm

Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 12, 2022

This Privacy Policy explains how Anti Theft: Phone Touch Alarm ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information collected from users ("you") of the mobile application available at Google Play — Anti Theft: Phone Touch Alarm (the "App"). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By installing or using the App you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information when you install, set up, or use the App:

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Contact information: Email address if you contact us for support or send feedback.
  • Account preferences: App settings, alarm preferences, and configuration choices you set inside the App.

1.2 Device and Usage Information

  • Device data: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (limited to those permitted by platform policies), app version, and language/locale settings.
  • Usage data: Crash logs, analytics regarding app features used, frequency and duration of use, and performance metrics.

1.3 Location & Sensor Data (Only if used)

If you enable features that require location or sensor data, we may collect approximate or precise location and/or device sensor data (accelerometer, proximity) only to the extent necessary to provide the feature. The App will request explicit permission for this data where required by your device OS.

1.4 Permissions

The App may request one or more of the following permissions. We will only request permissions that are necessary for the App's functionality and will inform you at runtime why they are required:

  • Accessibility Service: Required only if the App uses accessibility APIs to detect touch or assist with alarms. This permission is used to detect touch or interaction events and to provide alarm functionality.
  • Notification access: To post and manage notifications used by alarms and alerts.
  • Draw over other apps / Display over other apps: If the App shows alarm overlays.
  • Storage / Files access: To save logs or configuration files (only if applicable).
  • Camera / Microphone: Only if you enable features that capture media (e.g., take photos on tamper) — these are optional and will require explicit consent.
  • Location: Only if you enable location-based anti-theft features.

Note: If your App does not use one of the above permissions, remove it from the list. Always request runtime permissions in accordance with platform guidelines.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information for the following purposes:

  • To provide, operate, maintain and improve the App and deliver the features you request (e.g., alarm triggers, notifications).
  • To monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve the user experience.
  • To diagnose and fix technical issues, detect and prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our policies.
  • To send you service messages, updates, and support responses when you request help.
  • To comply with legal obligations and respond to valid legal requests.

3. Analytics, Crash Reporting & Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services to help operate and improve the App. These services may collect and process some of your information as described in their privacy policies. Typical examples include analytics and crash reporting providers.

  • Examples of third-party services that might be used: Google Play Services, Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, AdMob (advertising), and other SDKs. If you use a specific SDK (ads, analytics), list it here and link to its privacy policy.
  • We do not control the privacy practices of these third parties — please review their privacy policies for details and opt-out options.

If the App displays advertising, ads may be provided by third-party ad networks. These networks may use the data described above and may also use device identifiers to serve targeted ads. To disable personalized ads, check the relevant device or ad provider controls.

4. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We will not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: With service providers and partners who perform services on our behalf (analytics, hosting, crash reporting). They only receive the data they need to perform their functions and are contractually bound to protect it.
  • Legal requirements: If required by law or in response to legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets — subject to confidentiality protections.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide the App and fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Usage and analytics data may be retained in aggregated or pseudonymized form for product improvement.

6. Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical precautions to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
